Support Channels

Reporting a Bug

To report an API bug effectively, include:
  1. Endpoint: Full URL and HTTP method
  2. Request: Headers (with API key redacted) and body
  3. Response: Full response body and HTTP status code
  4. Expected vs Actual: What you expected and what happened
  5. Request ID: The request_id from the error response body
Submit bug reports via the Support Portal or email bugs@essal.cloud.

Feature Requests

Feature requests are tracked publicly on GitHub Discussions. Search existing discussions before opening a new one, and use the upvote feature to signal priority.

Security Vulnerabilities

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly via our coordinated disclosure programme at security.essal.cloud/report. Do not report security issues in public GitHub issues or community Slack. We acknowledge all reports within 24 hours and aim to triage within 72 hours.

Enterprise Support

Enterprise plan subscribers have access to:
  • A dedicated Slack channel with the Essal engineering team
  • 4-hour response SLA on P1 incidents
  • Scheduled architecture review sessions
  • Priority feature request consideration
